(12/21/00, 5 p.m. ET) - Memorial services for Rob Buck, late guitarist for 10,000 Maniacs, are being held tomorrow (December 22) from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. ET at the Lind Funeral Home. It is located at 805 West Third Street, Jamestown, New York 14701, 716-664-3800. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. ET Saturday morning (December 23).
Buck, 42, died of liver failure Tuesday (December 19) at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center (LAUNCH, 12/20). The musician's illness was a long-term liver disease that he had been coping with for some time.
Buck's family is in the process of setting up a scholarship fund for musicians in his name.
More details about donations will be forthcoming. The rest of 10,000 Maniacs have not announced their plans for the future.
