3LW On Working With Naughty By Nature On 'Feels Good'

(3/29/02, 3 p.m. ET) -- The combination of hip-hoppers Naughty By Nature and R&B/pop trio 3LW is having a favorable impact on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart. For the third consecutive week, their joint effort "Feels Good" holds down the Number Two slot.
The trio, which includes members Kiely Alexis Williams, Adrienne Eliza Bailon, and Naturi Cora Maria Naughton, told LAUNCH that it was an honor to work with the group. "Wow. It was such a wonderful opportunity for us to get to work with them. I know Naturi was so excited," Bailon said.
Naughton added, "Yeah. I love Naughty By Nature 'cause we grew up actually--wow--from the same 'hood, East Orange New Jersey. And I'm just so souped that they're from my town, and they're representing, and putting us in their video, giving us a chance. So we're very very excited about working with them."
"Feels Good" is the first release from Naughty's album, iicons, which is due out on May 7. 3LW is also working a new album. The record, tentatively titled A Girl Can Mack, is expected to be released during late summer.
