Alicia Keys, J-Lo, Will Smith, Nelly & More Added To Video Music Awards Lineup

MTV has announced that Jennifer Lopez, Hilary Duff, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jimmy Fallon, and Will Smith will be joining Paris Hilton, Lenny Kravitz, skateboard legend Tony Hawk, Ludacris, Ashlee Simpson, Jon Stewart, P. Diddy, Dave Chappelle and LL Cool J as presenters for the upcoming 2004 Video Music Awards.

In addition, Nelly, featuring Christina Aguilera, and Alicia Keys have joined the list of performers that already includes Lil' Jon, Petey Pablo, the Ying Yang Twins and Terror Squad featuring Fat Joe, Usher, Kanye West, Yellowcard, Jet, Hoobastank and Jessica Simpson.

Nelly, featuring Christina Aguilera, will perform "Tilt Ya Head Back," a song from Sweat-one of the two albums Nelly will be releasing in September. The video for his song "Shake Ya Tailfeather," is nominated in the Best Hip-Hop Video category. Sweat and the other album titled Suit will feature apperances from Stephen Marley, Fat Joe , Remy Martin, Mobb Deep, Mase and Tim McGraw.

Christina Aguilera is nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards for her song "The Voice Within" in the categories of Best Female Video and Best Cinematography in a Video.

Alicia Keys will be performing her hit "If I Ain't Got You" which is nominated for three awards - Best Female Video, Best R&B Video and Best Art Direction in a Video.

Rapper Jay-Z leads the nominees with six nominations for his "99 Problems" video. Following closely behind are Beyonce, No Doubt and OutKast, who have five nominations each.

The 21st annual VMAs will air live on MTV from the American Airlines Arena in Miami on August 29.
