Andrew W.K. To Release 'Blow Your Bone'?
Yahoo! Music, Mar 14, 2003 1:00 pm PST(3/14/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Andrew W.K. is releasing a new album in September, and some retailers have a problem with the set's proposed title. W.K. wants to call the album Blow Your Bone, even though some stores won't stock an album with that title.
W.K. insists the title has no sexual connotations. He says the name of the record came from the concept of a bone--as in a beef or chicken bone--being blown up with a stick of dynamite.
The controversial rocker is working on the follow-up to I Get Wet with producer Mr. Boesch. He has 25 tunes so far, with titles including "Violent Life," "Never Ending Party," "Close Calls With Brick Walls," "Kicks And Bricks," "Addicted To Life," and "I Am Totally Stupid."
Andrew W.K. will be on this year's Warped Tour, which kicks off in Nampa, Idaho on June 19th.
