Producers Mark Heimermann and Chris Harris formed the gospel/R&B group the Anointed in the early '90s, releasing Spiritual Love Affair and It's in God's Hands Now before their breakout album The Call appeared in 1995. Besides being the Anointed's best-selling work to date, the album garnered a Grammy nomination and three Dove awards, including Best Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year.
