Bad Religion, Mighty Mighty Bosstones & NOFX To Headline Warped Tour

Yahoo! Music, Feb 1, 2002 7:00 am PST
(2/1/02, 7 a.m. ET) -- The 2002 edition of the Warped Tour is taking shape, and it will feature Bad Religion, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and NOFX headlining the shows.

Other acts confirmed for the nearly two-month trek include Alkaline Trio, Reel Big Fish, Good Charlotte, Ozma, No Use For A Name, Something Corporate, New Found Glory, Lagwagon, Morgan Heritage, the Casualties, and Flogging Molly. MxPx might also be on the bill, but a spokesperson was unable to confirm that as of press time.

The official announcement probably won't be made for a couple of weeks, but LAUNCH has learned that the bands will convene in Boise, Idaho, on June 20 for a rehearsal, with the tour's first show taking place in the city the following day. The tour is currently slated to wrap up in Pontiac, Michigan, on August 18, but the final routing is still being determined.

All the bands are expected to play at every show, with the exception of Jamaican reggae band Morgan Heritage, which will likely leave the bill around July 25.
