(1/2/01, 3 p.m. ET) - Are you considered a groupie if you actually marry a rock star? Ask actress Kate Hudson, who wed Black Crowes front man Chris Robinson Sunday (December 31) in Aspen, Colorado. Hudson, 21, plays uber-groupie Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous and had been dating the 34-year-old rocker for about a year.
Publicist Brad Cafarelli told Reuters that approximately 70 people attended the New Year's Eve ceremony including Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn, Hawn's longtime companion Kurt Russell -- who gave the bride away -- and the entire Black Crowes line-up. Hudson was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in Almost Famous and will begin filming her next project, Four Feathers, on location in London later this month.
