The Canadian pop/rock foursome called Bliss was formed near the end of the '80s. At first the inconspicuous group featured a singer by the name of Iain. He soon deserted, and Dave Bryant was brought in to serve a four-year stint before leaving too. Bliss completed a debut EP in 1991. The first offering carried four tracks, including "Baby I'm Yours" and "Dear Friend." A full-length album, Grafted to an Elbow, followed in late September of 1994, released under the Patois Records label. The group continued for a while as a threesome after they lost Bryant in 1995, but failed to make any other recordings. ~ Charlotte Dillon, All Music Guide
