Kanye West Plays A Part In The Hip-Hop Muppet Show

Posted Fri Sep 26, 2008 2:57pm PDT by Blender Magazine in The Blender Burner

THIS WEEK: Kanye West has teamed up with Comedy Central to create a hip-hop version of The Muppets.

PLUS: The Loudness Wars are upon us as Metallica fans petition for a remix of their new record Death Magnetic because it sounds better on Guitar Hero; there will be no new U2 record this year...but Bono is busy saving the world by blogging for the Financial Times; and New Kids On The Block show off their beat-boxing skills.

These are the same people that were pissed off at Metallica for not being loud enough by going through a more blues influence in the mid to late 90's with Load and ReLoad. "St. Anger sounds like a trash can is getting beat on for drums..." "they cut their hair so they're not metal anymore..." Blah blah blah. Just be happy that the album totally kicks the crap out of St. Anger and Motley Crue's new "music" and get over it. It always has to be something with people to be pissed off at Metallica about.

If they re-release Death Magnetic, can they also re-release St. Anger totally remixed to sound better, add solos, and cut out the repeated verses? That should be the album they re-release if any.
