Kenny Chesney, Framed

Posted Fri Sep 21, 2007 1:08pm PDT by John Kordosh in Framed

We enjoy all types of music here at Framed, and, this week, we're featuring a new video from country megastar Kenny Chesney. Kenny's new album, Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates, was released the same day as the new 50 Cent and Kanye West albums, so you can see that this is a heady time for blogs that pull stills from music videos and write wry captions for the pictures.

The song is called "Don't Blink," and it has nothing to do with wise instructions for using Visine; nor is it a strict injunction to potty-mouthed punk bands. Instead, it's a warm, loving look at what's really important in life... the people around us. Truer sentiments have never been videoed.

So God bless Kenny Chesney. God bless Framed. And God bless the United States of America.

Important blog note!  Curly-haired reader Mariana_1006 made an interesting observation about "50 Cent, Framed": "I do not like the hateful notes under those pics," said devout JT fan Mariana.

The staff that puts together Framed has discussed this in depth, Mariana. One group believes the notes we put under the pictures are disrespectful, pointless attacks and even--as you suggest--hateful. Another group holds that our notes are harmless joshing and fun for the whole family. So we fired the entire first group and replaced them with Sri Lankans whose marginal grasp of English may lead to inadvertent hilarity.

Thanks for posting!

i find nothing wrong with it , its a very touching song ,it speaks on life and to its fullist. it's a reality check for one's who need a reminder. kenny is a person to cross you as ( coming from the heart), nerver to dis-respect any one at any time. im not much on country music. but i always have time for his, he has put a new step in this category.
