Madonna, Framed

Posted Thu May 8, 2008 12:11pm PDT by John Kordosh in Framed

There's little doubt that Madonna is one of the great pop icons of our time, as well as all the other times. A world-class singer, dancer, writer of children's books and adopter, Madonna has done it her own way, reinventing herself just as often as necessary. And no oftener.

Now back with one of her biggest hits in recent years, "4 Minutes" finds Madonna teaming up with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. The lead single from her new LP, Hard Candy, "4 Minutes" moves Madonna in an urban direction. What could be more exciting?

We couldn't be happier to finally have this great songstress in Framed, so please enjoy the video to its fullest, and let us know how you like it!

Important blog note! We have yet to repeat an artist in our nearly-one-year tenure at Framed, yet we must note that this is the third time that JT has shown up here. His "What Goes Around... Comes Around" was the seminal subject matter of this blog, and he also showed up in 50 Cent's "Ayo Technology." Justin's many contributions to modern music can scarcely be exaggerated, or, possibly, articulated.

1 - "Predict the shelf life of this song in minutes? Actually, I can!"

2 - Hey, it's also a Replacements video!

3 - Somehow, the new Carl's Jr. ad meant little to the target demographic.

4 - "Hate... this...song...must...strangle...self."

5 - "Tell Mr. Dali his bath is ready."

6 - "Jesus, my third shot at Framed. OK...don't blow it, don't blow it, don't blow it."

7 - Beauty's skin-deepness is no longer idle speculation.

8 - The AARP exercise program is low-impact, yet fun!

9 - "Tarzan's woman not like white man's jungle!"

10 - "My ability to fly...now cruelly linked to my ability to pick good videos to be in?!"

11 - "Let's see...this one has the refreshing scent of contrived hip hop. Perfect!"

12 - "Senator Craig!"

13 - The powers of the humans were a joke to Mm Ra, The-Mirror-Who-Is-More-Than-Man!

Jason Timberlake...did you mean to do that?

2. John Kordosh -
No I didn't. I was pretty deep into the Sambuca when I wrote the intro last night, so there you have it. Once again we are shown that only God is perfect.

I order someone at Y! Music to correct the error that I and the editor both missed, but that sharp-eyed reader celebritygone spotted with ease. Or not; either way is fine with me.

OK, it's fixed.

Readers, you should know that our "Framed" writer originally wrote the phrase "Madonna teaming up with Timbaland and Jason Timberlake" and it escaped everyone's attention! It was a horrible mistake, and we here at Yahoo hold this blog writer PERSONALLY reponsible for this embarrassing mishap!

Other than that, Paul, it was your best "Chart Watch" yet!

4. John Kordosh -
Why, I oughta!

5. Noelle -

Why is it that when I see Madonna gyrate her 50 yr. old hips in no rhythmic order, I want to vomit up my lunch. The whole "tick tock" move sickens me. She is utterly disgusting. The whole nude body suit should be buried along with her dismal career.

12. Nik -
I really don't care how she "used to be", that's really all she is anyway, a used to be, an old has been. She has always been an attention seeking chidish moron, and now that she is OLD and a mother she really needs to be just that. She is really really GROSS! and yuck 2 u JT for even participating in her "Fountain of Youth" pipe DREAMS!!!

Pahleeeze, isn't it time Madonna grows up and out of the "I'm a hot gyrating 50 year old sex goddess". Give it up, you had a great career as the leading pop star sex symbol in your day, time to move on. Time to stop exploiting yourself, your a mother and writer of children's books. Here's a novel idea, be a producer! Reinvent yourself again behind the scenes where none of us have to look at you anymore!

Caption #12 is my favorite. There's only one thing that could have made it better. If it would have shown Justin in a stall with his hand dangling underneath trying to make contact with Madonna. That would have been awesome. Once again, great stuff JK.
