J Xavier, Framed

Posted Mon Nov 3, 2008 11:14am PST by John Kordosh in Framed

Well, it's election week, and everyone at Framed is super excited! Some of us will be voting for the slim, articulate black guy. Others are diehard fans of the cranky old white guy who makes the weird faces. What a battle it's been! And, in deference to the historic nature of this week's election, we're pulling out all the stops with J Xavier's "Go Tell Your Mama to Vote for Obama."

In the interest of fairness, we wanted to do a second video this week showing a hip-hop artist endorsing Sen. McCain, but there were simply too many to choose from! Who's got all that time?

J Xavier, if you don't know, is a hip-hop wunderkind out of Houston, Texas, a 16-year-old ball of rap fury who's poised to remake all of music. He is, after all, the young man who's given us "Yao Ming Wants The Dunk."

And he does! Yao Ming so wants the dunk! Word!

Please keep in mind that neither Y! Music nor Framed actually endorses one candidate over another. To do so would be wrong and a misuse of our vast internet powers. We only ask that you vote--unless, of course, you were recruited by a suspiciously liberal get-out-the-vote organization--in which case we ask that you turn yourself in to the Vote Police.

Whatever happens, it's reassuring to know that Framed will be back here next week and every week, bringing you the finest humorous music video captions available. God bless America, God bless J Xavier, and God bless Framed, The Blog That Likes You!

1 - "Bob Evans reporting for channel 14. Perhaps you've tried my sausage."

2 - "C'mon, man... I can't get the cap with the bill in front until I register 50 people to vote."

3 - "Because they were all out of the good states! That's why!"

4 - "An American part of America?? Wha' chu talkin' 'bout?!"

5 - Should Obama win, of course, all citizens will be required to worship both he and Satan in equal measure.

6 - Incredibly, the question was, "Can we build giant robots who will act in concert with all the giant robots of the galaxy to reverse the arrow of time??"

7 - The taunts of "wealth redistributor" from an angry McCain were always difficult to ward off!

8 - The oblivious young rapper was unaware that he was being closely observed by the Straight Talk Wagon Train.

9 - "Of course I can name the branches of government!"

10 - "Run an entire presidential campaign opposing ‘black liberation theology?' Yeah, that'll resonate."

11 - The crowd was stunned when Joe the Plumber made sweet, sweet love to the governor of Alaska right there on stage!

12 - "And I pray to God that Governor Palin gets the Republican nomination in 2012. Thank you, Jesus, for the crazy animal killer lady."

If the giants robots reversed the arrow of time then Sidney McCain, popular among 13th century autocrats and socially conservative pterodactyls, would be sure to win!

Zounds and huzzah they shall cry when Sidney McCain is made next Thunder Lizard King of the Acirema, the Land of Constant Regression!

2. John Kordosh -
And next week: Gummo visits Acirema, the Land of Constant Regression.

I think it awesome so many youngters have taken interests to the elections. I myself have children and they constantly ask questions about the candidates and what they represent. Go OBAMA. IF you have not voted ya'll make sure you do. Your vote DOES count!!!

It is befitting for a much younger brother of color to tell "the people" to get out and vote. It IS time for a change and let all this haten' be gone. My 14 year old GrandSon asked me some years back, "Ama do we have any black in us?" I smiled because he got it. :) Of course baby, we all got a mix goin' up in here. One POINT that I think is most poetic is that the antichrist could feasibly come thru a black man (or it could be a [profane]...but either way, it's poetic that one of the most oppressed people who make up a very large population within these United States could possibly have a "Green" Light to make it in this world of ours. Yea Team, Yea us. Thanks for puttin it into words that we all think and feel...a 59 year Grandma in Texas, in Keep Austin Weird.

I JUST HOPE OBAMA WINS TONIGHT.. BECAUSE I DON'T THINK AMERICANS CAN HANDLE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS WITH A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT ESPECIALLY THOSE SELF PRO CLAIMED MAVERICKS. MCCAIN THINKS HE CAN HELP WITH IRAQ BUT HE GOT CAUGHT AND LOST IN HIS WAR. OH LETS NOT FORGET HIS JOKE OF A VP SARAH PALIN WHO THINKS SHE HAS FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE CAUSE SHE LIVE NEXT TO RUSSIA AND CANADA.
JUST VOTE FOR OBAMA PEOPLE. HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HELP FIX THIS MESS.
