Britney Spears, Framed
Here at Framed, we regard Brit's music as secondary to the greater Britney phenomenon: it's around, sure, but it's not really that important. Her videos, in fact, are more important, because the Britney phenomenon is nothing if not intensely visual. So we're really happy to have her back in our blog with the video of "Womanizer," from her brand new #1 LP, Circus.
On the most obvious levels, the video is a huge success. Britney looks terrific. We've watched the whole thing--at times, frame by frame--several times through to verify that, yes, she really does look terrific. And, often, we noticed, naked. Brit plays a secretary, a waitress, and (more or less) Britney Spears and, take it from us, she's nailed every role. It's like she has powers or something.
But what about the plot and the message of the video? Well, we're happy to report that it's all about empowering women, which everyone wants to do. Britney pushes around her faithless lover with a vengeance, letting him know that his tomcat ways won't cut it. What could be better?
We always defer to our excellent readers, though. Please let us know what you make of all this as the comeback begins!
1-- "Product Placement Meeting" in a Britney Spears video? Unthinkable!!
2 -- Britney's great new diet, which centered around eating her own fingers, delivered the weight loss results she needed!
3 -- "Jesus. How did a paparazzo get in there?"
4 -- "Great Scott! Saving Britney is more important than preserving my secret identity!"
5 -- Hey! The search engine worked!
6 -- Britney's understanding of cloning is somewhat dim!
7 -- "I say we harrumph a bit more. What do you say, men?"
8 -- "And if you idiots write a single word about my new diet, I will buy Yahoo! and simply give it to Microsoft!"
9 -- Science now believes that workers would be challenged if black holes spontaneously formed within modern offices.
10 -- Fortunately, the tunnel wasn't a sexual metaphor, so driving on the wrong side raised no questions at all!
11 -- "Contractually obligated to appear in the sequel video?! But... but...!"
12-- It was all true! New This Week did call the "B Line!"

Lol, ps, "single mom" implies that you are actually spending time with your kids...
Btw...Doesn't "single mom" imply that a person actually spends time with her kids?
