Miley Cyrus, Framed

Posted Mon Jun 29, 2009 11:10am PDT by John Kordosh in Framed

Hello, readers, and welcome back to Framed, America's friendliest blog. This week, we welcome teen superstar Miley Cyrus for her third appearance here, and are showing "The Climb," which may be her greatest video yet.

The song is from Hannah Montana: The Movie, which was released earlier this year and made over $122 million worldwide. Although Miley didn't write the song, we have no doubt that she's in complete agreement with its uplifting, feel-good message: that life isn't about the destination, but is, rather, about the journey...a stance all the great philosophers, except for Jesus and a few other guys, have taken.

As for the video, it's pretty much all Miley, although it features some interesting visual effects. Happily, it gives us our chance to write another dozen Miley captions, always a cherished goal here at Framed. Please let us know if we've met your high "caption humor" expectations, and let us know if we should continue to feature Miley Cyrus on a regular basis!

1 -- "I give up. How would I know if I'm in imminent danger of being swept away by a tsunami of massive proportions?'

2 -- Miles A, B, C and D sort of sucked, but everyone loved Mile E.

3 -- "I wonder if I erred in chopping off the fingers of my left hand at the first knuckle?"

4 -- "This isn't a real rose! This is an airbrushed, painted, fake rose," Miley declares, as Gummo stands by, ready to defend the Earth from a massive disruption in the universe's irony field.

5 -- Devout New Ager Billy Ray Cyrus was delighted to discover that storing Miley in a pyramid would keep her fresh for decades!

6 -- They would search endlessly until they found their leader, Ann Coulter.

7 -- Closing the show with "YMCA" has become a confusing Miley trademark!

8 -- "Secretly 28? That'd be me!"

9 -- "Paper beats rock?! Damn, I suck at this!!"

10 -- "Dad was right! Hell rules!"

11 -- Having to charge the ring every 24 hours is simply part of being a Green Lantern.

12 -- "I must leave you now, Earth! And though my journey to the desert worlds of Cygnus X-1 promises to be harrowing, I shall return with an even more lucrative tween franchise! I promise!

Even though she didn't write the song it still helps a lot of young girls to see that if they keep trying they will succeed at whatever they want to do, just like she did. And people shouldn't judge her, because no one but her family and close friends know what she is really like. No one knows what anyone is like until they have spent a lot of time with that person, so people just need to back off.

YOU are a joke....u pick on popular ppl, cause u r jealous of that person...so that makes u a Dummkpof.

Some people hate her, some people love her. Some days she's a good role model and others it's like she just doesn't care. I think she's human. She has feelings, too, but she's just not cut out for fame. 'Tis okay. I'm not, either. I'd probably do worse in her situation, so I guess I owe her some respect.

But come on, you've gotta love the 9th picture. "Paper beats rock?! Dang, I suck at this!!"

Okay, whoever wrote the captions shouldn't be doing that anymore. You said your, "America's friendliest blog" and bash Ann Coulter? If your trying to get at least one good joke, find something friendly!!

I think you guys should stop talking bad about Miley. If you dont like her music who cares, but you guys should think about the hard times she went through and should know thats its not always easy for her. So just back off of calling her names and things just because you dont like her''miley i love your music , your face to , your acting and you'' and your vocie
