Everyone is posting “Best of 2008” lists all over the Internet. It's a sad ritual that would make you believe there's nothing more ever to come. "The Best Albums," "The Best Movies," "The Best Political Gaffes." On and on. Everyone's got a favorite something. I even succumbed and did one of my own. Everyone's got a weakness.

I've been writing this blog since June. Six months of sharing my heart and soul with all of you Yahoo! brothers and sisters. We've laughed, we've cried. I feel I can call you family. Why? Because of the honesty. Family members can speak to one another openly, candidly, without fear of hurt feelings. Your family members are the few people in the world who can tell it to you straight (yes, that "Rock Troublemakers" blog was weak; I admit it).

I've read some of the comments you all have posted over the last six months. They've made me feel warm inside. So in the holiday spirit, I'm sharing my year-end list of Best Comments of 2008. Thank you one and all. I send you glad tidings for the new year.
