30 Rock Finale: Kidney Wow!
Last night, 30 Rock's finale quite literally rocked, when musicians from all walks of life--the Beastie Boys, Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, Mary J. Blige, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Norah Jones, Clay Aiken, Moby, Cyndi Lauper, Steve Earle, Michael McDonald, Talib Kweli, Rhett Miller, Robert Randolph, and Rachael Yamagata among them--harnessed their star power to perform at a "We Are The World"-style "Kidney Now!" benefit for Jack's dad.
This was truly some must-see TV:
There hasn't been as funny a Band Aid/Live Aid-style sendup on the small screen since the citizens of Springfield joined forces for "Sending Our Love Down The Well" on The Simpsons...
...or since the cast of In Living Color raised money for "Career Aid":
...or since a crack team of celebrity impersonators came together on this Japanese variety show...
...or since Britpop band Pulp hired a cast of impostors for this little-seen work of Band-Aid-spoofing genius...
However, "Kidney Now!" might be the finest "We Are The World" parody yet. I laughed so hard, my internal organs hurt!

"Enormous Penis"
High-larious.
"Axle" Bundy is my hero!!!
