T-Pain Goes For Broke In Primetime Debut
In real life T-Pain couldn't possibly need more money. He has written and produced platinum records for himself and some of the biggest names in the music business, Chris Brown, Kanye West, and Lil' Wayne.
But he takes on a different persona next month when he makes
his first prime time appearance in an acting role on new Fox series "Brothers." While T-Pain will
portray himself, his character will be "financially strapped."
In his role T-Pain will have an exchange with "Brothers'" cast members Mike (Michael Strahan) and Chill (Daryl Chill Mitchell) at Trainor's, the family's restaurant. The episode will air Friday, October 9 at 8 p.m.
T-Pain's other acting credit includes the role of Frylock in the Adult Swim animated series "Aqua Teen Hunger Force."
"Brothers" is a comedy about a retired NFL star (Strahan) whose bad
investments require him to return home to live with his parents and brother in
the home that he bought them. Carl Weathers and CCH Pounder co-star the parents. The
sitcom makes its debut Friday, September 25 at 8 p.m.
