Chris Brown Apologizes In New Song 'Crawl'
Chris Brown debuted a new song on Big Boy's Neighborhood morning show Wednesday. The song, "Crawl," comes just one day after Rihanna released "Russian Roulette" as her first record since her February 8 altercation with Chris.
In "Crawl," Chris accepts the blame for a relationship gone awry and asks his unnamed lover for a second chance.
"I'm the one that one that lost the view
Everybody says were' through
I hope you haven't said it too"
Chris Brown has scored hits with other slow jams, "Say Goodbye" and "Take You Down," but "Crawl" is an even stronger record. Potential backlash from Chris' assault on Rihanna is the only thing that could stop this song from topping the charts.
Chris told Big Boy that the song was written to "bring
people back to the essence of happiness." "Before you can run and walk and all
that stuff, you have to crawl," Chris said. "So why don't we crawl back to
love?"
Even though I like the song, I find the timing of its release to be strategic.
Last month, Chris released another song, the dance track "I Can Transform Ya." But, even before the video for the song surfaced, Chris has already moved on.
Literally, the day after Rihanna released the emotionally unstable "Russian Roulette" and earned some sympathy, Chris seemingly one ups her, responding with a remorseful record.

it is a good apology.
i think he still loves her, and she still loves him as well.
