I am Proud to have a friend in Harry Shearer... author, radio show host, Huffington Post content provider and of course...Derek Smalls, the bass player in Spinal Tap. This video scares me.... his uncanny likeness to Dick Cheney! Check this out and other videos of Harry playing his favorite "heroes" on MyDamnChannel.com.  He also has a new album--Songs Pointed And Pointless--available at HarryShearer.com.

I absolutely Love Harry and use to listen to his Show broadcast from New Orleans religiously..or is that I listened to it by Intelligent Design!!
I guess it was broadcast on KCRW and I no longer have access..
Not only is he witty, but provocative on topics as well.....Although Sometimes I can't help feeling like I am in School when listening to "Principal Skinner"

I love Harry too! Jill, did you like "A Mighty Wind?" I love all Christopher Guest's movies, and that one's probably my favorite. Harry had some really great, droll lines talking about the history of the Folkmen. And I thought the cast did a wonderful job with the music.
