Am I The Only One Who Thinks This Is A Bad Idea?

Yesiree, I can't think of anything that could make raw fish more appetizing, sanitary, or salmonella-free than exposing it to 100-degree heat for hours and hours. Mmmm, mmmm, good. Pass the chopsticks, baby.

Now, for libel-avoidance purposes, I must clarify that--as far as I know--no one at Coachella has actually fallen ill from scarfing down the (hopefully well-refrigerated) tuna rolls available for purchase at Ichi "Fresh" Sushi (quotation marks mine). But the idea of Coachella desert sushi still sounds more Icky than Ichi to me. I think I'd rather eat fugu than risk dining here...
