Kelis Says Nas Has Cut Her Off Without A Penny
Kelis says that estranged husband Nas has cut her off without a penny--just as she is expecting their child this month.
According to legal papers, rap star Nas is not paying any prenatal expenses and Kelis is flat broke. "I have run out of money," she said.
Kelis is asking a judge to order Nas to pay spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses, and one half of all medical expenses after the child is born. She also wants $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child's birth, and $20,000 for strollers, cribs, and other baby supplies.
Kelis says she is entitled to maintain the lifestyle she became accustomed to during their marriage. That was a lifestyle that involved owning expensive jewelery, like a diamond bracelet worth $190,000, a 9-carat, cushion-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring, and numerous watches "such as Cartier, Rolex, Frank Muller, and Chopard." The couple also owns five homes.
Nas has not yet responded.

Nas will take care of her and the kids... Nas isn't some igorant thug with no conscience. Dude dropped out of school in the 8th grade and has a better vocabulary than 98% of English teachers in America.... I'm sayin he's a stand up guy and will take care of his seed.
and Kelis should just relax, take a deep breathe, call her mom or sisters or family.... call the Neptunes... and start crackin' now while your name is in the air.... cause sweety, if you depend on others- you will sometimes get burned!
