Michael Jackson's Dermatologist Reveals All
Michael Jackson's dermatologist has made a series of startling revelations about the singer and his children.
Talking to Larry King on CNN, Dr. Arnie Klein, who was Jackson's dermatologist for 20 years, said Michael Jackson was addicted to drugs.
"Michael at one time had an addiction," he said. "He went to England and he withdrew that addiction in a secure setting."
He also said the Thriller star had a "huge tolerance level" when it came to drugs, typical of an addict.
During the interview Klein denied he gave the singer powerful, potentially lethal, painkilling medication.
He admitted that he occasionally gave the pop star the painkiller Demerol, but warned him about using the powerful sedative Diprivan.
"I told him he was abolsutely insane," he said.
Klein also admitted that while he once donated sperm to a sperm bank, he was not the biological father of Jackson's children, as some stories in the press had suggested.
And in an earlier interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's Good Morning America, Dr. Klein, 48, said: "I can't say anything about it, but to the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children."
Sawyer interrupted: "To the best of your knowledge? That's an intriguing phrase," to which Dr. Klein replied: "I can't answer it in any other way because, do you know what, I don't want to feed any of this insanity that's going around."
Us Weekly magazine says they have confirmation from "multiple sources" that Dr. Klein is Prince and Paris's biological father.
Klein's former assistant, Debbie Rowe, married Jackson in 1996 and a year later gave birth to Prince, 12, and then Paris, 11. She has never confirmed who the biological father of the children is, but recently insisted she was the biological mother, rather than merely a surrogate.
Jackson's third child, Prince II (nicknamed Blanket) was born to a surrogate whose identity has never been revealed.
When Rowe and Jackson divorced, Rowe received a $9 million payoff and a Beverly Hills home worth more than $2 million, and she gave up her custody rights to the children.
