Fall Out Boy Lead Singer Arrested

Posted Wed Aug 26, 2009 7:42am PDT by Andy Pemberton in Musictoob

Patrick Stump, lead singer of Fall Out Boy, was picked up by the police last night in Beverly Hills.

Police arrested Stump around midnight on a traffic warrant.

Stump was released from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s station at 4:30 am this morning on $15,000 bail.

It is not the first time the 25-year-old singer has been in trouble with the police.

Stump and bassist Pete Wentz were cautioned by New York police in when they attempted to perform an impromptu gig in Washington Square Park last December.

FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ON ONE TRAFFIC WARRANT?!

Good God. What exactly was this traffic warrant for? Breaking the speed of sound on an interstate?

Cripes, last time I had one of these, it was a $20 fine for expired plates which I'd paid three years ago but the computer lost it. Something here is nuts, and I wouldn't assume it was Mr. Stump.

It's terribly disappointing to see so many ignorant comments.
