Michael Jackson Remade "Thriller" Before He Died

Posted Fri Oct 23, 2009 11:31am PDT by Justin Mathews in Musictoob

Michael Jackson's posthumous concert movie This Is It features "reimaginings" of some of his most famous videos, including "Thriller."

The movie, which opens next Wednesday and is expected to rake in $250 million in its first five days, uses the new videos to serve as transitions to the live performances during the "This Is It" concerts in London.

So what does the new video look like? Choreographer Travis Payne said the new "Thriller" doesn't include the cutesy teen-date scenes that the original had. But he also said: "We didn't touch what we considered the sacred inside of it."

Which means just one thing: Expect zombies.
