Leona Lewis Speaks Out For First Time About Attack
Leona Lewis has said the attack on her by a crazed fan at a book signing "could have been much worse."
The "Bleeding Love" superstar said she just had "to deal with it" after a 6'5' thug randomly punched her in the head as she signed copies of her book Dreams in a book shop two weeks ago.
Now, after culprit Peter Kopwalczyk, 29, was ordered into a mental hospital this week, the singer has warned other stars to "take care of our safety, especially being famous," as she attempted to take a few "positives" from the experience.
But she said "something like that doesn’t happen very often."
Now her security team is on red alert, but she said she still doesn’t have 'round-the-clock protection.
Of her security she said: "Not at all times, but I have people around me looking after me."
