Absolutely. the way I look at it right now david cook will make the most money for the music industry and in the meantime they can work and hone David A's music skills and let him mature a bit and then 2-3 years down the road he will become a knockout handsome performer just when David Cooks career is taking a back seat

Well I am very mad...I was coming on the internet to pay some bills and in big letters...there it was..David Cook wins. Im in Califonia and it hasn't even come on here yet. SO im mad cause it is spoiled and Im mad cause David A was clearly the better David.

Last night, I was all four hours of the opening time voting for MY American Idol: David Cook. I am glad to see that America finally got it right. I am thrill and can't hardly wait for Cook's CD to come out. David Cook was the real deal and he will be a superstar. David C., you rock!

Yay! I'm glad Cook won! David A. could only sing ballads and can't do a fast song properly. Whereas David C. could definitely do a wide range of songs! So yes, the right David did win as American Idol!

Hypocrisy sure is great when something goes the way you want it. I love all the people who thought winning Idol wouldn't be good for Cook anyway, but now that he's won it, it's great! Pssh!

Congratulations to him, but it doesn't matter who won. Both of these guys are going to get record deals and sell records.

Words, which are ususally my friends, escape me now...lol. Wait a minute, they're coming back! To quote actress Amy Madigan in one of my fave movies, "Field of Dreams," ..."America! I love ya. I'm proud of ya." Or something like that. lol. Woo Hoo!!! I don't EVER think I'll come down from this "high." This natural high, BTW. First, my teams won this year in two sports and now this! I think I'll go play the lottery; I'm suddenly feeling VERY lucky. Loved the finale even BEFORE I knew who had won, by the way. Talked through SOME of it, but not much. The first "Guitar Hero" commercial had me saying, "Yeah!" The second was like, "What?" Uh, seriously, NOT going to happen. lol. Anyway, Lyndsey, I am SO envious of you right now because you are there, but please take your time to soak it all in, so you can do justice to what you witness and we can all live vicariously through you. Also, I really DO think this was the best ever top 12 and that they were each very entertaining in their own, unique way. I was very proud of all of them, and I mean ALL of them tonight. Twelve million votes separating the top two!! Amazing! That really sent a message, if nothing else does. Can anyone say, "Twelve Golds or One Platinum," just with the difference in votes alone. I am once again without words. My votes, though as plentiful as I could manage, were but a drop in the David Cook bucket. But my household, which ranges in ages from 13 (boy, by the way) to 25 (young woman) to 49 (mom, still rocking and NOT in a chair..lol.) will forever be Cook fans. So take that to the bank, and yes, David Cook WILL take that to the bank.
