IAM GLADE THAT DAVID COOK WON THE IDOL
TONIGHT AND EVEN WHEN I WATCH AMERICAN IDOL
I WILL STILL WATCH IT AND I HOPE DAVID COOK
MAKES CD'S AND I WILL BUY THEM

I screamed, and jumped, and just went crazy when I heard that Cook beat Archuleta!! I did like both, BUT Cook really touched so many people with his performances, his passion comes through his music...Just the songs he did on Idol could make a greatest hits CD!!

HE SHOULD NOT HAVE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think David A should have won!! He is amazing in every way possible!! I can't believe David C won!!! UGH!!! What is wrong with America these days!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd never been so dissapointed, I feel the same way I felt when Ruben won over Clay and Fantasia won over Diana. What is wrong with "America"?? Other than Kelly, Carrie and Jordin I think the others idols have been chosen not because of their talent but for the producer's convenience. It was perfectly clear after Tuesday's show that the winner was David A what happened at the last moment "who knows" but like Randy said David A can sing even the phone book. David C can sing just rock. Horrible season, nothing compare to season 6.

Yeah!! Way to go David Cook!! You are so original, and you worked so hard, you deserved to win!!

Oh man... =( i soo wanted David A to win, he deserved it!!!!! Not that i hated David C but, why???????? Geez, what is wrong with america? Seriously?!? =P Whatever, maybe we'll do better next year...

Thank Goodness Idol had Cook this year, could you imagine just how dull it would have been without him?? The show may not have survived!!

I was kind of bummed today because i felt david cook got a raw deal last night from the idol judges. feeling all along, that david cook should be the "idol", i was pretty upset with the reviews he got from the judges, especially simon. at least tonight he recanted and admitted that he had been unfair to cook. so hoping against hope with all the david a. hype although he has a perfect voice, iwatched idol praying david cook would take the competition which he so deserved. wtg cook! thanks for a great ride and look forward to the future david cook material.. i'm really happy for hiim, rock on!

It seems the show FINALLY got it right, a truly unique talent that won on his being a gifted performer. I feel the other David will still have a career of some type as well, so all is not lost for either one. I really found it touching to see David Cook repeatedly on the stage with David A. at the end of the show tonite when he was singing.

BUT I feel that David Cook really EARNED that title so he can reap the recognition in this immediately. This time may we see that the highest voted is a top winner in every way possible by selling the most also. He did say that in a clip on local tv here prior to the show tonight, he didn't see the show as a "golden ticket" as others claimed,later he jokingly said it's his younger brother's fault, but then in the end you see him get emotional (I caught it on tape as I had to step out just before the announcement). I feel he either had it sink in OR it is with mixed emotions for him to be in that contract at least the first year around. Time will tell by the songs on that first cd later on.

Let all the supportive fans of his prove that he is the true winner by buying that debut cd.I plan to.He could set a record to win and be a top seller of the season also. I don't know if any other idol winner has done that other than Kelly Clarkson.
What a thrill, to see him win and to have it happen for the last season I planned to watch. The show promised more than it delivered in being "different" so I only watched this through as that deception it would be so much more roped me in to root for some performers and watch them then.

I couldn't be happier to see that the 1st one I wanted most won the very first season and the one I wanted to win most now won the last one I chose to watch as well.David Cook, you truly Rock! Keep this style,stay true to it.

Doing so should get him lots of air play. I for one can't wait to hear him on the radio.A local station here had a dj say that when he heard the Billy Jean song performance he thought he was a great performer. He said that he didn't watch the show much but caught that when his wife had it on that day. I so hope that dj gets his songs on the air here soon as well now. I'll be listening for it.

I don't feel there's a better choice to win.

but my favorite thing about tonights show was definently the guest preformances. i am a huge classic rock junky so getting to see grahm nash was the highlight of the show for me, also brian adams and zz top were great!

I've been a fan of them both since the begining of the season. Cook won it 'cuz he deserved it, but I gotta tell you after last nights performance, it was very hard to decide which should be crowned the winner. i'm glad cook won tho, i think he will handle the fame better.

I have been a David Cook fan from Day One. Congrats David Cook, you rock. I will be one of the first fans to buy an album you put out. I knew you would do it. Once again congrats from Montana, you did a really great job all season and you deserved to win. You have AMAZING!!!!!!!

i don't think that there is anything wrong with america i just think they like david cook, and possably (this is my personal opinion)america wanted an idol who can remember his lyrics answer a question with actual sentances and also someone who has some social skills :)
and before you go insulting "america" for voting for david cook you shold also take into consideration that you are a bit out numbered.

both Davids are talented but I think David A has a much better voice.
