IDOL SPOILER ALERT: David Cook Wins!
Hey everyone...I'm at the Nokia Theater right now, so I won't be able to blog in detail about the American Idol finale until later tonight. But here's the one piece of vital info you need to know right now, just announced:
DAVID COOK IS YOUR NEW AMERICAN IDOL!
Man, this news just rocks. Literally!
Yes, the unassuming Missouri bartender with no Smithson-style showbiz connections has trumped aggressively hyped/stage-parented Star Search winner David Archuleta. America got it right this time. Thanks for rocking the vote, Idol fans! (And if those Internet rumors are true that this outcome was fixed, well then, I guess thanks to whomever rigged it in Cook's favor...)
I know I said in my earlier blog that I didn't want to David The C to win (ONLY because I was afraid it would ruin his career)...but now that I'm here in the middle of all this celebratory hubbub, I'm pretty pleased with the results. And Cook's career seems pretty intact so far. So huzzah for Cook!

HE SHOULD NOT HAVE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think David A should have won!! He is amazing in every way possible!! I can't believe David C won!!! UGH!!! What is wrong with America these days!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh you think that's bad?, wait till Obama LOSES the Democratic Nomination to Hillary because because of 'last minute' rule-amending to allow Florida & Michigan delegates to count- lolol. (Watch for it!)
***How uncomfortable is the 'ride home' for Archuletta going to be with Dad telling 'what he did wrong'? Archies Dad must be FUMING at Idol Producers (for letting this happen)...oh and David A. still has to do the tour with his father around him like a ball & chain. And David Cook will be 'nailing groupies' right & left- lol. All this while Danny Noriega...will be picking out new eyeliner at "Hot Topic".
Don't bust "HT"- 80% of my T-shirts come from there. What was saying??? Oh yeah, Now we get to read ALL the sour-grapes 'Hate' comments from Little Davy fans!....JOY!

And it was so much fun to watch. David Cooks expressions during this performance were priceless. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.

I said I didn't care who won cause I loved them both. By the time the results were being read - I still felt the same. I have to say that I was truly happy when Cook won. It was a magical moment and I can't wait for his single to be released.
