Clay Aiken To Be A Babydaddy!??!!

Posted Thu May 29, 2008 11:35am PDT by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks

No, this is not another story on that pregnant man. But it's just as astounding.

According to TMZ, Clay Aiken is going to be a FATHER.

TMZ is reporting that Clay's late-fortysomething producer/roommate/"best friend" Jaymes Foster-Levy (yes, Jaymes is a woman, in case you were confused) was successfully artificially inseminated with Clay's sperm, and is now carrying Clay's baby.

I honestly don't have much more to add here. I'm as speechless as Simon Cowell during Fantasia's recent performance.

But a rep for David Foster, Jaymes' famous producer brother, is a little less tongue-tied. The rep has confirmed TMZ's earlier report in a statement to The Insider: "[Jaymes] looks great, glowing, and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time."

Is this the "measure of a man" Clay was singing about? Hmmmm.

Maybe this song ought to be Clay's next single.

parenting should always be a personal choice, whatever your sexual orientation is. salute to clay for having a choice and doing it.

well, i'm happy for the two of you. Congradulations! and yes, I think I spelled it wrong, but that's okay!!! ;)
People just need to give them space about it; it's not like we get in the face of every pregnant woman out there, why should we do it to Clay and Jaymes?

Hey if thats how he wants to reproduce...then go ahead...his business, not ours...only one man can judge him!!!

Seems there's not much else to be writing about at this time, as who cares if he fathered a child by any means or not? It's his business to choose to do that I feel. It's because it's gossip it seems to matter.

I heard on the local radio report this a.m. on this that he intends to be actively a part of raising the baby. If they are great friends and they agreed to do this then the child can and should benefit by that then. I feel that they are not like a spiteful couple that one intentionally did that for or that they only wanted to have "fun" and got caught. It's the 21st century and stranger stuff happens in today's world..let's get over it. Regardless of a sexual preference or not in this, may the baby be healthy and happy in the decision of these 2 people now.

How does artificial insemination make you a dad?... What if she is with someone else and just couldnt have a child with them and asked her best friend to help out... We shouldn't jsut to conclusions that it's going to be his kid just because it's his sperm.

gaygaygay......come on

I find it ironic he would have given away his sperm since he always calls his absent abusive father a sperm donor....very wieeeerd

The key question here is 'according to TMZ'. What a laugh. That show is like the National Enquirer of TV. The more mud they can throw at celebrities with false information the better. They should be ashamed of themselves!

i guess he is having some pre mid life crisis.... first having a baby then buying a $40,000 convertible today. I'm sure you could fit a baby carrier in a saab.

And I thought I had heard it all....I mean, what better way to screw up a kid...a mom named Jaymes and a dad that's face just screams the word "FREAK!!!!!" Yeah...very sad situation!
