As if there weren't enough reasons to heart David Cook, here's another: His LOL-tastic skit on possibly the best Best Week Ever ever:

With this, David has officially man-cemented his status as best Idol ever.

You know, if this singing thing doesn't pan out for David, not only could he go into hairdressing, he surely could try acting or standup comedy as well.

This Idol is funnier than Chris Sligh, hotter than Constantine, has more famous hair than Sanjaya...is there anything he cannot do?

Not surprising since he did musical theater in high school. Yup--he can sing (awesomely, i might add), act, and rock the stage....take your pick, America.

Ok he won Idol, but I don't see any "Humor" in that little video clip. Next we are going to hear he can ice skate, wind surf and bowl THE BEST!!! Do you see where this is going? Let's not put this "Idol" on too big of a pedestal, get real with it.

I love that he can poke fun at himself. He seems to have a very healthy perspective on his success that will hopefully help him avoid some of the bigger pitfalls of fame. Ironically, his knowing it could all be transitory probably will help ensure that it is not. I'm glad to see he's staying humble.

Looks like that Oscar/Emmy that he wants to get may be at hand soon...
