Jennifer Hudson's Slim Chance

Is it just me, or does Jennifer Hudson look, um, DIFFERENT on her debut album's cover?

Seriously, not since Ann Wilson was electronically compressed from a size 16 to a size 2 in one of Heart's '80s music videos have I seen such a glaring example of what appears to be some sort of digital diet. Because unless Jennifer has been on Beyonce's pre-Dreamgirls lemon-and-cayenne-pepper fasting plan for the past six months, this album art does NOT accurately represent the real Hudson from the neck down.

So, this looks like one extreme Photoshop makeover. But why? Jennifer looks great the way she is. Do the suits at RCA Records really think she'll shift more units with her head digitally decapitated and then Frankensteined onto some skinny mystery body? And do they really think her fans are unobservant enough to overlook such a radical renovation of her famously full figure?

You know, Effie would not stand for this, and neither should Jennifer. Neither should her fans.

And if this really is Jennifer's actual body, then someone please email me the name of her personal trainer, pronto.

And that's the skinny, for now.

She was just on the Bet awards and she wasn't that skinny. As a matter of fact I believe she gained a little more weight. So I can say she was photoshopped.

I think Jennifer has a beautiful voice. Her size is not her voice. Leave her body size along. She do not need help in that department.

There is no way that she is that small. I jus watched Jennifer on the BET awards, and she was far from skinny. Oh well, either was she can sing her skinny/thick a** off..lol!!

THAT is PHOTOSHOP all the way. She is a very pretty girl. They shouldn't have cut her size down. They should have been real. I love her. She is a great artist.

even though she does look good in the photo it is obviously photshopped because we all know she is not that small.maybe she did it as an inspiration to get down to that size.

you all I truly understand what everyone is saying but what if the photos where taken after dreamgirls b/c remember she did get really thin afterwards. But seeing her on the BET awards she is not that small anymore.

Wow...I'm gonna stick up for LP here...she is not criticizing Jennifer for her size, big or small. The issue here is the "fake" cover...Jennifer hasn't looked like that in any public appearance in the past year. No one cares what size she is, the concern is how she represents herself here.

Dont point your finger at her she is young and making her money...if she had the body of a dragon on the cover it wouldnt be a big deal but take off some weight and people have some thing to say....who cares about her dress size the girl is a singer/actress.

I do not understand why artist do that. Why do they let their disc record comp show something they are not? What would they do when they need to show up to a live concert?
