Jennifer Hudson's Slim Chance

Is it just me, or does Jennifer Hudson look, um, DIFFERENT on her debut album's cover?

Seriously, not since Ann Wilson was electronically compressed from a size 16 to a size 2 in one of Heart's '80s music videos have I seen such a glaring example of what appears to be some sort of digital diet. Because unless Jennifer has been on Beyonce's pre-Dreamgirls lemon-and-cayenne-pepper fasting plan for the past six months, this album art does NOT accurately represent the real Hudson from the neck down.

So, this looks like one extreme Photoshop makeover. But why? Jennifer looks great the way she is. Do the suits at RCA Records really think she'll shift more units with her head digitally decapitated and then Frankensteined onto some skinny mystery body? And do they really think her fans are unobservant enough to overlook such a radical renovation of her famously full figure?

You know, Effie would not stand for this, and neither should Jennifer. Neither should her fans.

And if this really is Jennifer's actual body, then someone please email me the name of her personal trainer, pronto.

And that's the skinny, for now.

if any of you have paid any attention, she really has lost the weight. They can't photoshop live appearances at the Emmy's, so get off of her back. She looks fantastic and she is that thin.

Jennifer Hudson isnt that big, and dont everyone know the fashion of a high waisted belt betrays a slimmer look. Everyone is betraying her as some fat person and she's not that big, a little diet and that belt she can pull it off easily with out photoshop. HATERS!

Give me a break on that cover shot. She is a plus size woman and she should be proud of it....not put her said on said photocropped skinny body. I will not buy the album now.

While I am admittedly attracted to slender woman, I think Jennifer looks great given her plus-size shape. If she wants to drop a few pounds for image and/or health reasons, great, otherwise she looks good just the way she is.

its not real. she was just at the BET awards and was double that size. and those awards were like 2 weeks ago. why make her small on the album cover but when she puts a video out she will be big again?? wtf?

you can really see it in the neck area, even if she had lost that much weight her neck is not that long. and for those people saying she looks good, you are promoting a culture where for our women to be appreciated they have to go through "digital diets." this is not an accurate representation of women and should not be considered beautiful.

don't judge an album by it's cover. is it her fault that the media makes her feel the need to change her appearance?? she's still talented and I am still buying her album.

y'all are funny!!!! who cares if it's her or photshop...are you comfortable with you and is she comfortable with herself in person and/or in print...people are starving and dying of aids and we are UPSET about whether or not Jennifer wants to embrace her BBW self... get over it!

Clearly the photo is a work of art: Note that she is grabbing her head and putting it on a different body, the figure she desires. While we don't see where her actual body is, maybe it's lying dead on the back of the album, clearly it is a statement about fulfillment and dreams, and that in the digital age we can all create that ideal image of who we really want to be.

i think her heads the only thing thats jennifer hudson, the rest is like some other chick that's skinnier.
