Jennifer Hudson's Slim Chance

Is it just me, or does Jennifer Hudson look, um, DIFFERENT on her debut album's cover?

Seriously, not since Ann Wilson was electronically compressed from a size 16 to a size 2 in one of Heart's '80s music videos have I seen such a glaring example of what appears to be some sort of digital diet. Because unless Jennifer has been on Beyonce's pre-Dreamgirls lemon-and-cayenne-pepper fasting plan for the past six months, this album art does NOT accurately represent the real Hudson from the neck down.

So, this looks like one extreme Photoshop makeover. But why? Jennifer looks great the way she is. Do the suits at RCA Records really think she'll shift more units with her head digitally decapitated and then Frankensteined onto some skinny mystery body? And do they really think her fans are unobservant enough to overlook such a radical renovation of her famously full figure?

You know, Effie would not stand for this, and neither should Jennifer. Neither should her fans.

And if this really is Jennifer's actual body, then someone please email me the name of her personal trainer, pronto.

And that's the skinny, for now.

whoa - can you say "altered image"? I am NOT going to buy this album - how insulting to those who admired her for proudly being herself! Shame shame! Jennifer, you just lost a fan.

wow, this is so typical of the media--you can't be over a size 4 or--my god YOURE FAT!!!!!! And everyone knows that if you are fat, you just won't sell. Marilyn Monroe is probley rolling over in her grave--she was a size 16 and by todays standards would be "obese".

If she truly wants to look like that than she Needs to hire a Lincenced Nutrionist and excersise. Yeah full figured women or any women who are that size should love the skin that they are in, but when you try to look skinner than you are in a picture than it time to "Just DO It" like Nike says.

What is it with society that everyone has to be so skinny? Jennifer Hudson is a full bodied woman, and she should be PROUD she doesn't look like a stick!! Who wants to look like the Mary-Kate's and people like that!?? It's disusting!! She should be proud of who she is and whay she looks like.

This is a bit much! I agree that Jennifer should not stand for this. I understand if she wants to look different, but she should let it be her. Loose the weight, don't take credit for someone else's shape.

I hate the media! It is the reason the world is in the shape it's in. You can't trust that anything is truthful. they amke mountains out of molehills.They get the public overly obsessive about all type os issues that should really be downplayed. We could all learn a few things from taking a media strik!

I am sure she is photoshopped some...who isn't? It's not unusual for stars to lose and gain weight. You know her record company told her to drop a few lbs. and probably hired some people to make sure she did. Either way she looks great.
