Sanjaya Comes At You Fast

Posted Thu Aug 21, 2008 9:22am PDT by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks

Oh, Sanjaya Malakar, I've missed you so. Your creative hairdos that belong more on Shear Genius than onĀ American Idol, the way you can destroy a perfectly good Kinks song like nobody else, your ability to make little Ashley Ferl cry on cue...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

The answer is, apparently Sanj has been shooting his own Kevin Federline-esque "Life Comes At You Fast" commercial for Nationwide Insurance. Except his commercial is waaay better than K-Fed's. He's wearing a fauxhawk! And trying to act! And singing! Kind of!

Somewhere out there in TV Land, Ashley Ferl is crying next to her plasma screen:

Welcome back, Sanjaya. Now all I need is for Danny Noriega to get his own Nationwide ad and I'll be weeping tears of joy, too...

It's a fun commercial. I thought his singing was fine. It's his acting he needs to work on.

What a tool. I guess that loser is hard up for some cash. Loser.

He is an embarassment to himself and his family. He had his "one moment" of fame and will not let it go - he was no good then and unfortunately has not improved. Poor guy, following (stalking) celebs to try and have his picture taken with them. Someone tell him it's over; get a job!

R U Kidding me god help Hollywood they have run out of ideas

Companies like to use "celebrities" in their adds because apparently it improves sales. Why is this so? What type of people out there become persuaded into buying products just because someone popular promotes it? Teenage girls, that's who. Please stop the insanity! Some of us want to be considered civilized but our image is tarnished by the hoards of people who are easily deceived.

I'll tell you why #20, because he is getting paid rediculous sums for acting like a goof ball. You may call that jealousy on my part but to me its a reflection of a lost society that rewards goof balls more anyone else. I could grow my hair like a Chia Pet too and sing at a mediocre level as well, but, come on, you have to have no dignity to do that crap!

Sanjay still has a good voice.I am happy for him. Good job!

i don't understand you people that keep saying he can't sing, of course he can sing, otherwise he would not have ever gotten on american idol. its just that there were others who could sing better than him but they don't necessairly have the chrisma. i think he's cute and i am not a 10 year old i am 46.

I think it is a waste of time and money he has no talent and his fauxhawk needs to go there is nothing cute about it.
