"American Pie" by Don McClean. He wasn't sober,he was drinking whiskey and rye and singing this will be the day that I die.

How can you kill a boy made of paper?

3. Yahoo! Music User -
I think the boy was ran over by a motor vehicle driven by a drunk driver.

Another case of somebody not liking the message so they kill the messenger.

5. Yahoo! Music User -
The boy was delivering bad news and somebody ran over him with a car and killed him. Was he hoping the boy was sober or the driver of the car?

6. Yahoo! Music User -
Do you think it was the paperboy who was drinking? Maybe he had a death wish and knew he was going to day on that day.

7. Yahoo! Music User -
The boy was sober,he was too young to be drinking. He was ran over by a man while delivering newspapers.

8. Yahoo! Music User -
He wasn't made of paper,he was a regular boy who delivered newspapers to doorsteps. You know like milkman but doesn't mean the man is made of milk.
