Song of the Day: The Academy Is..., "About a Girl"

This snappy emo strut finds these Chicago suburbanites sounding like the Decemberists minus the English-major affectations. "One song/About a girl/Can't breathe/When I'm around her," announces William Beckett over ringing guitars, while the hearts of a hundred Hollister-rocking 15-year-olds skip a beat. It's somewhat generic, but that "woooo!" around the one-minute mark will make you tingle.
But I am slightly offended about the Hollister thing. I don't wear Hollister!
