Song of the Day: The Killers, "Human"

Posted Mon Oct 27, 2008 7:16am PDT by Rolling Stone in Rolling Stone Song Of The Day

On 2006's Sam's Town, the Killers tried to rope arena-rock sincerity into their glitter-pop grotto, with spotty results. Here, Madonna producer Stuart Price provides a warm, New Romantic throb, and Brandon Flowers ditches his vibrato for a vulnerable croon. The sound is delicious, but the chrous - "Are we human? Or are we dancer?" - is classic Killers nonsense.

~not bad - seemed to take a bit to "get going" but once the tempo picked it flowed very nicely. Great drive time tune. I could completely chill out to this song and let the time roll on by.

They had brought anything since their fist album. When I first heard "When You Were Young", I thought I was ready for you to suck yet!
