The All-American Rejects' knack for crafting simple, catchy tunes remains in tact on "Gives You Hell," the first single from their forthcoming followup to 2005's multiplatinum Move Along.  Lead singer Tyson Ritter bitterly addresses an ex ("And truth be told I miss you, and truth be told I'm lying") while drummer Chris Gaylor gives muscle to the beat-heavy track and a chorus of voices turns the hook into a stadium chant.   Ritter ends on a high note, allowing "You can sing along I hope that it will treat you well"  and you can already hear the crowds following his request.
