The Sound of Silence Playlist
There have been many “songs” put to wax that contain nothing more than complete silence. I have only found 3 of them that are available on Rhapsody. But the great thing is, you can just put it on repeat if you want more.
But while we ponder songs that have no sound, I have a few questions…
Are royalties paid by Rhapsody if you stream silence? Can you actually hold a copyright on a silent composition? Does Rhapsody actually use bandwidth and stream an audio file that has no audible sound. If you put a completely silent track on repeat for infinity, will you get sick of it?
All good questions to ponder while you enjoy the silence. Actually, one of these tracks is not completely silent, so keep your ears open!
Below is a list of silent "musical compositions", please add any others you are aware of to the comments.
