Sure Cash was an important songwriter and performer, but he also is one of the most respected musicians in history across musical cliques, political ideologies, religious beliefs and subcultures. Everyone loves Johnny Cash -- Democrats and Republicans, blacks and whites, punks, hillbillies and rednecks, the religious and the condemned. In my view this CD/DVD set is the perfect piece of media for election time when people divide so fiercely. Johnny Cash IS America. He wouldn't give a damn who you're voting for next week, but he'd kick your ass if you don't vote. We should all take the lesson he gave us to heart.
