Produced By Roy Thomas Baker

Roy Thomas Baker is a legendary rock producer for many reasons.

He got his start with Decca Records at the tender age of 14, came up through the ranks of engineer to become a producer, and is responsible for helping transform hard rock into complex arena rock. The shining example of his work being his production of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Other major acts Roy Thomas Baker has produced include The Cars, Cheap Trick, Devo, Journey, Foreigner, Yes, The Smashing Pumpkins, and many others. As a senior VP of A&R for Elektra Records he signed many of the artists that would go on to create New Wave in the 1980s. However, this list focuses exclusively on songs that he has a production credit on.

Very, very interesting. You should do more lists like this, showcasing the producers.

I've always wanted to know what songs "Mutt" Lange has produced, I've heard he was this legendary producer/songwriter but other then Def Leppard I don't know what else he's done.

Chris, "Mutt" also produced Back In Black by AC/DC

To Robert: I hate to say this, but should you not re-write your "Worst Albums" article seeing as those 5 articles ARE NOT the worst according to Metacritic?

I wrote the real bottom 5 on the comments. Ithink it only fair to rewrite but IDK what you think!

4. Robert -
D3, No, thoses were not the worst of all time, but the current worst new releases according to Metacritic. And actually, they still are. Go to music and filter in the album list in the left by score.

5. DUDE -
Queen+Paul Rodgers should have used Baker to produce their tunes....Anything would have been an improvement.

6. DUDE -
And another thing....Is that a picture of Roy Thomas Baker...or Julia Child??

Oh, so its worst, recent releases? Oh, kk, that makes sense. And, then yes, they WERE.

Though Ithink Queen got in it cuz it really isn't Queen w/out Mercury.
