WMVY Sample Playlist
I just got back from an excellent family vacation in Cape Cod where I lived for some time. It's a place that continues to draw me back again and again. It seems everything in New England was perfectly crafted to make me happy. The food, the architecture, the salt air, the lush and rugged landscape, the history -- all of it is simply perfect in my eyes. And when I think of music and New England the first thing that comes to mind is WMVY. It's a local radio station located on the Island of Martha's Vineyard just off the coast of Cape Cod. The station follows its own format, and while the programming is eclectic it's always of the highest quality and has an understated vibe that goes perfectly with the surroundings and lifestyle. So although I can't get back to New England every year, I can certainly revisit playlists like this one that I built from songs currently on heavy rotation at WMVY.
