It was fun, dancable, and didn't have to be edited. Bands like Culture Club, Duran Duran and singers like Cyndi Lauper and Madonna were able to combine image with talent and made it work. I even miss those chessy videos on MTV back when it WAS a music video channel. Great times, great times.
