(11/28/01, 10 a.m. ET) -- Singer Blu Cantrell has been on the joyride of success since the July release of her gold-certified debut, So Blu. The first single from the set, "Hit Em Up Style (Oops!)," was produced by Dallas Austin and reigned supreme as the anthem for any female who had been slighted by her significant other. In October, Cantrell's ride hit a speed bump when a nude pictorial the singer shot seven years ago for Black Tail magazine began surfacing on the Internet.
Cantrell recently shared her thoughts on the situation with the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, "It's a closed book to me. I know people are talking about it. I'm not surprised...but I don't care. I'm not ashamed of nudity. I did it a long time ago when I needed to pay my bills. Actually, I'm proud of it. I'll sign one (of the pictures) if they want me to. I've even caught friends looking, business associates looking at me on the Internet," she said. "And I'm fine with it. I did it so long ago. Now it's about singing and the album. I don't have any regrets."
