The 1984 collection has now been expanded to two CDs. Disc one is called "Legend Remastered," and it features the original album's 14 songs, along with two other tracks, "Easy Skanking" and "Punky Reggae Party," which were on the cassette version released in the U.K. Disc two is called "The Legend Remixes," and it features 13 remixes, many of which only came out on 12-inch singles in the '80s, in addition to an unreleased remix of "Lively Up Yourself."
All the music has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes for the best sound quality possible, and the new packaging includes the original artwork, photos, and liner notes, along with newly-added pictures. Legend joins Catch A Fire and Exodus in getting the deluxe treatment, as part of Universal's Marley reissue campaign.
Legend (Deluxe Edition) comes out next Tuesday (February 12).
