Boy George released from jail after serving four months
Yahoo! Music, May 11, 2009 5:00 pm PDTCulture Club singer Boy George has been released from jail after serving four months of an 18-month sentence for false imprisonment.
The frontman, real name George O'Dowd, was given the sentence in January after being found guilty of detaining male escort Audun Carlsen in his London flat.
He was released early from Suffolk's Edmunds Hill Prison for good behavior today (May 11), reports Britain's Daily Mirror.
O'Dowd is required to wear and ankle tag and obey a curfew for the next 14 months.
