The promo clip is for forthcoming single "Get Back."
It will be the first release from her as-yet-untitled new album, Spears' first since 2003's In The Zone.
It is thought Spears worked with Sean Garrett and Jonathan Rotem on some track. The album is believed to be coming out in 2008.
Spears' spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnik said: "I said since the album is pushed back until '08, let's go on hiatus until we have a campaign to do," reports Rolling Stone.
