This marks the second SNL appearance for Spears, who is part of a distinguished list of musicians who have hosted SNL and also performed. That list includes Paul Simon, the Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, Sting, Garth Brooks, and most recently Jennifer Lopez.
Spears has a busy month ahead of her. Next week she is scheduled to interview and perform on The Oprah Winfrey Show on February 4, and she will visit NBC's Today show for an interview on February 6. Spears performs on NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno on February 11, and she performs on The Rosie O'Donnell Show on Valentine's Day (February 14). Crossroads, her feature-film debut, opens in theaters nationwide on February 15. Finally, she will appear on ABC's Live! With Regis & Kelly on February 18 and The View on February 22.
