Tour Lineup Converge On Top 10 Of Country Chart

Yahoo! Music, Jul 26, 2001 10:00 am PDT
(7/26/01, 10 a.m. ET) -- The star-studded lineup that makes up the Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus & Wild West Show has a stronghold on the top 10 on the country charts. Headliners Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn's single, "Only In America," has already raced to claim the Number 10 spot; Keith Urban holds the Number Six spot with "Where The Blacktop Ends"; Toby Keith sits at Number Five with "I'm Just Talkin' About Tonight"; and Montgomery Gentry remains at Number Two with "She Couldn't Change Me." All together, the foursome makes up the top-grossing country tour of the first half of 2001, according to Pollstar.

"I'd like to say we sure know how to pick 'em, but the truth is we asked acts we really like to be part of our tour," said Brooks. "We're having hits with a good time," adds Dunn. "It's pretty cool when you realize that in everybody's set on the same night everyone is in the hunt to see what will happen when the charts go up, and it's even better for the fans because they get to see those songs they hear and love on the radio all the time."

The Neon Circus & Wild West Show will wrap up in Pittsburgh on August 5.
