(11/20/01, 4 p.m. ET) -- Brooks & Dunn's Kix Brooks and his wife, Barbara, will spend part of their Thanksgiving holiday at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which airs on NBC Thursday (November 22) morning. The couple will be watching their daughter, 14-year-old Molly, march with the Brentwood High School band.
"We just sent 'em off and it was a very emotional farewell," Brooks told The Tennessean. "I lost my head at the last moment and gave her my cell phone and my portable TV. I know I'll never see them again."
Molly, a freshman at the Brentwood, Tennessee high school, plays the flute. Brooks & Dunn's current single, "The Long Goodbye," holds the Number 27 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
